Myka Baum
Myka Baum works with photography, printing processes and installation. Central to her practice is the concept of life cycles. Her ongoing investigation into the point at which nature becomes an image is manifested through a destructive production process. Centered on a microbiology of growing and developing living and rotting matter, which become implicated onto the surface of the image. Processes have included corrosion of film under compost, corrosion of prints in saltwater and planting crops into and through photographic prints. These processes are captured using ancient and modern methods such as Cyanotypes, Anthotypes and digital photography. Myka lives and works in London. After a decade in the office world Myka turned to study for a BA in Fashion when she discovered art and became a keen photographer. She went on to study on the PG Cert in Photography at Central Saint Martins which resulted in her Lunar Mare series being selected for Bloomberg New Contemporaries 09. She has exhibited at Brighton Photo Fringe, Photofusion and APT gallery.

William Arnold
William Arnold is a visual artist and historian interested in the engagement of science, ecology and history in contemporary photographic practice. His compositions, seek to explore aspects of temporality, the physical qualities of light and the role played by process in current debates surrounding the materiality of photography and the perceived authority of the photograph as historical document. He studied history at Lancaster University and was self-taught as an artist – photographer before completing an MA in photography (Photography & the Land) at Plymouth in 2014. He was a finalist and recipient of the conceptual category prize of the 2011 Ideas Tap Photographic Award in association with Magnum Photos and has exhibited widely.
